Every resource on AI Resource Hub is curated and reviewed by our editorial team. This page explains exactly how we evaluate tools, what our editorial score means, and how we keep listings current.

What we evaluate

• Capability and output quality: how well the tool does the job it claims to do.
• Documentation and developer experience: setup friction, docs clarity, and API ergonomics.
• Pricing transparency and value: clear plans, a usable free tier where applicable, and fair pricing for what you get.
• Freshness and maintenance: active development, recent releases, and community health.
• Openness and data control: open-source availability, self-hosting options, and privacy posture.

What the editorial score means

• 4.8 – 5.0: Exceptional — best-in-class, hard to beat for its use case.
• 4.5 – 4.7: Excellent — a strong recommendation with minor trade-offs.
• 4.0 – 4.4: Good — solid choice; check the cons for fit.
• Below 4.0: Situational — useful in specific scenarios only.

How we keep reviews current

Listings are reviewed on a rolling basis. Each resource shows its last-updated date, and we remove or rework entries that reference outdated versions or discontinued products.
